I’ve been using mine for two and a half years for everything. I have an Atomic compact 1/2” impact 20V. I use it to build on my house, simple repairs and chicken coop building to working on my Jeep. Anything. The adapter is a lifesaver if it’ll stop running off with the #8 and #10’s. LOL

These were great albeit expensive wrenches. Sadly the slightly cheaper made in China versions are clearly not remotely comparable in quality. RIP SK Tools.

Been in the automotive business for 15 years now. Icon is actually pretty good quality and lifetime. My snap on stuff is overrated most of the time. I rec buying specialty/diagnostic tools from snap on or matco but everything else works just as fine.

Ryobi's 18 volt lineup is a great platform. However, the batteries die / refuse to be recharged after a while. My Ryobi battery charger stopped working. It would be great if Ryobi, or a knock-off, made a corded adaptor that allowed you to use household current to run the cordless tools; it would have a 120v to 18v transformer, and a battery-shaped plug on the end.

I've used step drill bits before, and they really come in handy. But I've found that spiral flute step drill bits work best.

I just happened to have same idea to make one in order to flush my brake lines -- only difference is I tapped a hole near the neck and screwed a pressure gauge into it so I can monitor pressure and check for leaks, etc. Considering I already had the spray bottle sitting in garage, definitely a heck of a lot cheaper than buying one of these -- and works just as well, if not better!

Wright tools are made in USA with USA steel. They are elite tools and cost a lot less than snap on. Wright is the only brand I buy for automotive tools anymore.

Just picked this up, was looking for something comparable but not battery driven, there is nothing. I took this home and set it up on a Kraig jig for ripping 3/4 prefinished birch plywood for some custom cabinets for a customer. With a Diablo finish blade, this cut phenomenally. The cut was very smooth and straight and the light weight of the saw made using it a breeze while attached to the jig. I have been a carpenter, woodworker, and Licensed builder for 35 years and I highly recommend .

What amazes me about Blue-Point is that they're way too overpriced for how and where they're made. Snap-On's profit margin on Blue-Point products is probably astronomical.

Ahh for fucks sake the Pittsburg torque wrench is perfectly fine for 95% of jobs. There be to many guys these days looking at tools like a woman looks at makeup. It's stupid and ego driven.
